Neumans on the Road

Jerry and Lynda

Sept. 9, 2019

We are so grateful for your prayers as we travel to report to our churches. God has given safety, great meetings with our churches, encouraging fellowship all along the way. Despite many different beds, we are sleeping relatively well and getting exercise in frequently if not every day. Lynda is struggling some with keeping her blood pressure down, prayers appreciated.

Since our last letter, we have reported to Bethany Baptist in Martinez, Berean Fellowship in Hemet, and First Baptist of Weaverville. Over Labor Day weekend we spent time with Jerry's family and our son, Nathan, in Lakehead, CA. This past Sunday we reported to Foothills Church in Stayton, OR and were able to celebrate Jerry’s 66th with dear friends from college days.

While in Newhall near our son, Luke, he shot pictures and designed a new prayer card for us which we will be mailing to individual supporters and to churches we've already visited. If we're not scheduled to be at your church and you would like one, please message us with your address.

We made it to Oregon last week, where a dear supporter and friend has opened her lovely cottage in the woods to use when we need it. Friday she took us to her Young at Heart Bible Study where we were able to share a bit of what God is doing in the world through MMM. We also were able to spend time with Lynda's brother and wife, who recently moved near Grants Pass and with good friends from our days at Western Baptist.

This week we have already enjoyed great blessings from the Lord at the Refresh Retreat for ministry leaders from the Northwest churches at Cannon Beach.  God surprised us with sunshine as we arrived, when rain had been predicted all week. We have enjoyed walks on the beach, continued sunshine, great visits with friends and a wonderfully refreshing time in the Word and lifting our voices in praise and thanks to God.

Rejoice with us in God's working in three families and one of our churches to provide $335 in monthly support pledges. Please keep praying with us for the remaining $400 needed for us to receive clearance from ABWE to return to Brazil. Jerry was able to purchase a new computer to replace his before it completely died through funds given by another supporting church.

Check out our prayer and praise list as well as our itinerary for September and keep praying for us! A one-page printable of this letter is here. See photos here.

With thankful hearts,

Jerry and Lynda Neuman
